Kat Williams apologizing about his 'anti-mexican' comments has turned me to hate. Comedians are comedians, let them be who they are, of course they say racist @!$%# from time to time, but honestly, they are paid to push the envelope in humor.

SyFy announced earlier this year that a re-imagined version of the popular BBC title Being Human was in the works. Which doesn't surprise me at all, it's a great show. 'Re-imagined' in this case though means 'Americanized', you know, like The Office.

Gencon was huge this year, the going estimate is 50,000 + attendee's, almost double the turnout of last year. That many people in one area always brings out vultures.

It's nice to be around people who share your interests. Once a year I'm surrounded by 28,000 of them. Gencon, it's like a four day episode of Cheers with the patrons replaced by dorks, geeks, nerds, and game enthusiasts. Gencon where everybody knows your game...

Regardless of not being cast as Thor in the upcoming movie, this photo is definitive proof that Triple H is actually the son of Odin, big, muscled, blond, hammer, lightning, Thor!

The growth of the Independent Party is not some great mystery to unravel, it's not the Esoteric Order of Dagon. People like to differentiate themselves from the masses and change their allegiances to acquire the perceptions they desire from others.

The latest installment of the Twilight series is still on The Mega. Which means I had to watch 'Predators' in an inferior format. Thoughts of those emo-@!$%#bag, lovesick cutters one theater over ogling Edward's sparkly pecks haunted and enraged me all the way to the credits.

State and local smoking bans are on the rise. Fourteen states enforce smoking bans that designate bars, restaurants, and workplaces as 'smoke free'. Many municipal ordinances also enforce smoking bans in many cities across America.

"Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand, a thief, a reaver, a slayer, with gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth, to tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth under his sandalled feet." Robert E. Howard, 1932

I don't care much for reality television. Reality television is a great marketing tool, it reaches into the brain of the viewers and whispers; 'these are real people, just like you'. They might be real but the majority of people on reality television are nothing like me.

This morning I read a post from a Newsviner that is 'hanging up her spurs' for the time being, and though I didn't know her I regret that I won't have the chance to. One of her gripes was about pending memberships to certain groups on Newsvine.

Microsoft fans are all a twitter about the New Xbox 360, it's got it all. 'Whisper quiet' design, a sleek black case, and '...Kinect ready right out of the box'.

Purple Prose is on the rise in literature. This overly descriptive flowery language which detracts from the imagery it is supposed to improve stalks writers of all genres.

Disclaimer; for all my friends that like 'Twilight' I am beginning this review with an apology to you. So to Nick, Stephanie, Jenna and Brenda, I'm sorry. The rest of you...not so much. Read at your own peril.

Recently someone expressed an interest in this line of my profile. They sought to use it as ammo for a comment against my views, and made up a story about a wise Indian Chief named Tioga, who would tell me to defend America. Despite that, I want to explain what Tioga means to me.

Everyone that plays video games has a different opinion about which games would make decent movies because there haven't been many good ones. The Super Mario Brother's movie was awesome, if you were on 'shrooms when you saw it, and Bloodrayne made me wish my eye's would bleed.

Ten years ago in high school I was reading a Playboy tucked into a graphic novel during study hall. Okay well I was skimming it at least. A tech article about a personal theater system caught my eye.

I've logged many hours on the couch in my living room watching my roommate on the other couch play video games. He plays a ton of them, and the only time I can access the various video game systems, and the 42 inch flatscreen in the living room is when he's gone or unconscious.

It's official, people that write hate-rants don't know what the word official means. It sucks to be in the minority, and to be a sore loser, that's my opinion. Putting the word 'Official' in the title of an article doesn't make it official.

I was up late last night creeping around the 'vine when I thought I'd check in on the Wisconsin Newsviners group. To my surprise the only articles I found clipped to the group were my own. I clicked the 'show more' link and still nothing but me.

You're welcome. I've been pulled down into that quagmire more than a few times. It's no fun. You can see what I mean if you look at some of my Arizona seeds. I had to delete a number of comments for violating CoH #1. (Then I was accused of deleting comments for not agreeing, which wasn't the case at all.)
There are some people I've found in here, though, that there only purpose on Newsvine is to argue. I keep seeing those same names over and over. Sometimes, it works best just to totally ignore them...

It's not work if you truly enjoy what your doing right?
